Toronado

It took her record to two wins from seven starts with earnings of $105,460, having won her maiden at Hamilton two starts prior.

Bred by Gilgai Farm, Suntora is the second foal and first winner for Group III placed Mastercraftsman mare Kansas Sunflower.

Sunt

ora was a $150,000 purchase for Express Racing Pty Ltd / Nick Ryan Racing from Gilgai Farm at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale.

They will offer the half-brother as Lot 231 at this year’s renewal of the same sale.

Kansas Sunflower also has a two-year-old colt by Ghaiyyath called Ichnusa, retained by Gilgai and in work with Ciaron Maher, and she foaled a filly by Ghaiyyath in 2024.
