Starspangledbanner first shot to fame as a sire through the deeds of The Wow Signal, who won the Group I Prix Morny in 2014 after first winning the Group II Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.

The Wow SignalRetired to stud in France, The Wow Signal shuttled to Swettenham Stud for a season but proved subfertile.

A winner of three of his four starts, he died in France following a battle with laminitis.

The Wow Signal had 12 foals in Australia that are now yearlings with three of them sold at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale at an average $68,333.
