One of the more significant entries is the broodmare Sliders (Street Boss), a young, well-bred mare that’s a half sister to G1 Thousand Guineas winner Flit and a three-quarter sister to triple G1-winning Champion colt Broadsiding.

Sliders is a rare top-line broodmare offering this early in the year. She is being offered in foal to Australia’s leading sire I Am Invincible and with a Blue Point colt foal at foot.

Blue Point has enjoyed an eye-catching run of success in recent months in particular through the likes of G1 bound Bosustow, G3-winning 2YO Icarian Dream, impressive 3YO winners Tonkin and Point And Shoot, as well as a debut win for leading G1 Blue Diamond fancy Aleppo Pine.

Tannhauser is another Newgate China Horse Club horse to be offered for sale.

Tannhauser (Dundeel) and Gold Bullion (Savabeel) are exciting, young black type prospects that will no doubt create significant interest in the sale.

Tannhauser  won last year’s G3 Rough Habit Plate – defeating the likes of G1 winners Autumn Angel and Port Lockroy – as a 3YO and is G1 placed at two and most recently finished a close-up 4th in a $1m race on the Gold Coast.

Gold Bullion is in career best form, winning a Stakes race last month and finishing just behind Tannhauser in 5th place in the same $1m race earlier this month.

Both Tannhauser and Gold Bullion are being offered by Newgate Bloodstock and partners.

The catalogue also contains shares in top quality racehorses including G1 winners Tuvalu (25%) and Communist (15%), G2 winner Amazonian Lass (5%), multiple Group winner Recommendation (2x5%), Stakes placed 3YO colt Spywire (5%), dual Stakes placed 2YO Yes Lulu (5%), the hugely impressive debutant Editing (10%) etc.

In total the February (Early) catalogue consists of 374 lots – 174 racehorses (84 race fillies), 89 broodmares, 67 racehorse shares, 41 yearlings and 3 unraced stock.
