Sent off favourite for the $50,000 Alexandra Plate (1000m) the Stuart Gandy trained Needs Further filly was able to replicate her debut victory last month to score by half a length bringing a pedigree update for her yearling half-sister by Gold Standard headed to Magic Millions Tasmania this year.
Zany Girl was a $65,000 Magic Millions Tasmania purchase for Joe O’Neill’s Prime Thoroughbreds and has already won back her purchase price banking over $70,000!
