Hunter Valley nursery Cressfield is a name synonymous with elite female pedigrees and Group I performers with their current star flagbearer a filly purchased from their draft at Magic Millions in 2022 for a modest $140,000.
Winner of the Group I BRC Stradbroke Handicap at three, Stefi Magnetica has gone onwards and upwards at four for the Bjorn Baker stable finishing a close fifth in the $10million ATC Golden Eagle and fourth in the Group I VRC Champions Mile stamping herself as a serious prospect for some of the best races in the country in 2025.
A $3.4million earning daughter of All Too Hard, Stefi Magnetica joins an honour roll that also includes recent Group winners Passive Aggressive, Jamaea and Hellfest with exciting two year-old filly Rainbow Glow a new talent on the rise.

Rainbow Glow has accepted for the Gold Coast on Saturday in the $150,000 Aquis Gold Pearl (1100m) and a good performance may see her earn a start in Saturday week’s $3million Magic Millions 2YO Classic. She has drawn inside in gate three and has Jason Collett to ride, so will give her rivals something to chase.
Cressfield will offer a draft of 11 at Magic Millions next week and among them is the yearling half-brother to Rainbow Glow by boom first season sire Home Affairs that will be offered as Lot 96.
From the family of Australian Horse of the Year Northerly and $9.7million earning Group I winner Overpass, Wild Rain has made a good start to her stud career with Rainbow Glow her third winner and she is already the dam of a stakes-placed horse in Spring Lee.
Cressfield Stud Manager Liesl Wickson is thrilled to be bringing him to the sale and has been delighted with the progress of a colt born in late October.
“He’s a late foal who still has a lot of growing and maturing to do, but in saying that he is big and strong for his age and has a lovely fluid walk,” she said.
“He really gets along, big overstep, good bone, good hindquarters, great temperament and is an absolute pleasure to work with taking everything in his stride.”

New to the family this season is boom Kiwi trained stakes-winning juvenile Return to Conquer (2cSnitzel), who sold for $1.3million at this sale last year.
A compact filly, she has a nice head, short barrel and short cannons.
