A flood of yearling images uploaded to the Magic Millions website ahead of the Christmas break have brought the first major Australian sale of 2025 to life in an online sense and for those who have not been visiting the farms in the lead up to the sale it’s a great chance to get a look at some of the superstar yearlings.

Lot 182 Filly I Am Invincible x Avantage – Coolmore
Second foal of nine time G1 winner Avantage and her first foal, a filly by Wootton Bassett (GB) topped the sale in 2024 when bought by David Ellis for $2.1million and has been named Avantaggia.
Lot 185 Filly Written Tycoon x Away Game - Yulong
First foal of Champion 2YO Filly and multiple Group winner Away Game, who was bought by Yulong for $4million at the 2022 MM National Broodmare Sale. Bred on the Written Tycoon x Snitzel cross that has produced G1 winners Private Life, Captured by Love and Velocious.
Lot 224 Colt Zoustar x Bonaria – Widden Stud
Closely related to G1 winner Joliestar and is a full brother to Group placed Miss Aria from Group I VRC Myer Classic winner Bonaria from the family of G1 winners Merchant Navy and Paulele.
Lot 234 Colt Siyouni x Bumbasina (IRE) – Segenhoe Stud
Only colt in the sale by champion French sire Siyouni and is a full brother to Group I winner and $3.8million earner Amelia’s Jewel.
Lot 309 Colt Snitzel x Debonnaire (GB) – Arrowfield Stud
Half-brother to four time G1 winning $7million earner Hartnell, stakes-winner Roz and this season’s Group placed filly Dominetta.
Lot 369 Colt Gun Runner x Estijaab – Emirates Park
One of two colts in the sale by champion US sire Gun Runner and is third foal of Golden Slipper winner Estijaab, whose first foal is stakes-placed Frankel filly Ejaabiyah.
Lot 741 Colt I Am Invincible x Odeum – Yarraman Park
First foal of Group I MRC Thousand Guineas winner Odeum.
Lot 1007 Filly Home Affairs x Sunlight – Coolmore
Third foal of Champion 3YO Filly Sunlight, who was bought by Tom Magnier for $4.2million at the 2020 Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale and her first two foals have both sold for $1.4million with the oldest of them three year-old Justify (USA) colt Dawn Service, who is a Flemington stakes-winner this season.
