Street Boss 2YO Trifecta at Warwick Farm

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday December 18

The ‘blue army’ was out in force in the two year-old fillies maiden at Warwick Farm on Wednesday when Godolphin sent out four unraced fillies trained by James Cummings, three of them by Street Boss (USA) and a fourth by Bivouac and they were one, two, three and four turning for home!

The favourite was Tempted ridden by Zac Lloyd and she duly asserted close to home to claim victory by half a length over Daphnes with Lipstock third and Sphere fading to finish sixth.

A half-sister to Group II winner Kallos from Group II winning Exceed and Excel mare Calliope, Tempted impressed when second in a recent trial and duly ran to expectation.

Tempted is the third winner from three foals to race for Calliope, who has a yearling colt by Pinatubo (IRE) and is now in foal to Street Boss’s champion son Anamoe after slipping last year.

Street Boss (USA) sired the trifecta in the 2YO fillies maiden at Warwick Farm.
