Girl Power Rising Fast – Magic Millions Order of Entry

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday December 17

The Magic Millions two and three year-old races scheduled for January 11– both worth a whopping $3million - were always going to get a big shuffle up last week and it’s been the fillies on the move.

Key lead up races for the juveniles at Wyong in NSW and Caulfield in Victoria saw three Sydney trained fillies O’ Ole (Ole Kirk), Memo (Capitalist) and Horseshoe Hill (All Too Hard) all move into the top 20 with O’Ole now topping the list of qualifiers.

Well seasoned Bjorn Baker trained O’Ole is well prepared for the task with three runs under her belt producing a second in the Group III ATC Gimcrack Stakes and a fourth in the $1million ATC Golden Gift before her win last Wednesday, read about the race here.

Melbourne trained filly Invincible Woman (I Am Invincible) made a winning debut at Caulfield(Read about her here), but will face a task given the overall poor record in the race for Victorian trained runners not taking into account Ciaron Maher, who has has stables in NSW and won the race twice since 2020 with fillies that subsequently proved to be absolutely outstanding in Away Game and Coolangatta.

Fillies were the big movers for the three year-old race with Bauhinia(Hellbent) , Zoubaby (Zoustar)and Yes Lulu (Yes Yes Yes)all winning races to put them in the picture for the Gold Coast.

Bauhinia broke the track record at Wyong (read about here here), while Zoubaby, who scored at Randwick, and Yes Lulu, a stylish winner at Caulfield, are both stakes-placed fillies that are heading to the Gold Coast in top form.
