Cloth Of Cloud has produced one winner and her colt by Wootton Bassett was bought by Glenvale Stud for 200,000gns at the Tattersalls December Foal Sale last month.

Hubie de Burgh who commented:

“She has been purchased for an existing client who wanted to be part of the Too Darn Hot success story in the Southern Hemisphere. Cloth of Cloud was a very good race filly during her career on the track and Too Darn Hot has been doing an outstanding job with his progeny in Australia. It’s an exciting journey to be embarking on.”

Regarding the Southern Hemisphere Session and the Tattersalls Online platform, de Burgh added:

“The thoroughbred online sales concept has been a huge success in Australia. It is still in its infancy in the Northern Hemisphere but I believe the concept is a vitally important part of the structure of selling thoroughbreds and I am a big supporter of it.”

Proven stakes producer Newton’s Night was well received with Ridgeport going to 150,000gns (A$313,500) for the daughter of Galileo, who is the dam of this years stakes-winner Treasure Isle.

Avenue Bloodstock purchased young winning Zoustar mare Crimson Coronet for 100,000gns (A$209,000). She is from stakes-winner Crimson Rosette  a half-sister to Group I-winning stayer Courage Mon Ami.
