With
so many feature races and the carnivals in full swing in Sydney and Melbourne,
the debutants are spread far and wide on Saturday and include a sale topper.
The Snitzel x Silla Regalis colt blew them out of the water at Session 2 of the
Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale making $640,000.
That was precisely double the price of the second highest priced lot and he is
set to make his debut as Mashaheer in the opening race at Morphettville for the
Hayes/Dabernig training team where he is currently the second favourite in a
cramped market.
Now in the ownership of Shadwell Stud, Mashaheer is the second foal of his dam,
a half-sister by Encosta de Lago to Silent Witness and Sister Madly.
