Interesting Purchase for Laundry Cottage Stud – In Foal to Chaldean

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday December 4

Laundry Cottage Stud is the farm that produced our Cox Plate winner Via Sistina and also Wootton Bassett, one of the hottest sires this year, and they made an interesting purchase during Tattersalls December Mares Sale Day 2 with a great interview from Gina Bryce with her dad Colin Bryce, who co-owns this G1 producing nursery.

Redressed is in foal to Chaldean.

Laundry Cottage Stud purchased Lot 1691 from Juddmonte for 360,000 guineas and Group III placed Redressed is in foal in her first season at stud to Cambridge Stud shuttler Chaldean, who stands at Juddmonte when he is not in New Zealand.

A young Le Havre mare, Redressed comes from a great family as her dam is a sister to Champion Older Mare and triple Group I winner Midday with family also producing G1 stars Elmaamul and Reams of Verse.
