$3.2million Tutta La Vita Nearly Ready for US Debut

Tara Madgwick - Monday December 2

The Autumn Sun lost one of his star fillies from last season to North America earlier in the year when John Stewart of Resolute Racing purchased Group I placed Tutta La Vita for $3.2million at the Inglis Chairman’s Sale and the four year-old mare is getting close to making her US debut.

Tutta La Vita was one of the top sellers at the Inglis Chairman's Sale.

Previously with Chris Waller , Tutta La Vita had her last run in Australia in May when unplaced on a soft track in the Group II BRC Doomben Roses following a fifth in the Group I ATC Australian Oaks and a second in the Group I ATC Vinery Stud Stakes.

TDN have reported the mare worked over four furlongs in :49.34 (11/16) over the Tapeta surface at Gulfstream on Saturday and her new trainer Ignacio ‘Nacho’ Correas has selected a modest starting point with an optional claiming allowance race on Boxing Day a likely target race.

“She’s doing good. She’s eligible for a one-other-than and she’s going to run here on the 26th,” Correas told TDN.

“So far, so good.”

Tutta La Vita took longer to acclimatize than was hoped for with plans to run in the Breeders’ Cup failing to come to fruition, but if she comes through this first run well then 2025 will hold a myriad of options for the super talented mare.

Tutta La Vita has a two year-old three-quarter brother by Snitzel called Equerry, who was bought by Tom Magnier for $500,000 at Inglis Easter and he is in work with Chris Waller.
