Saturday's Sydney and Melbourne two-year-old winners Santos and Prairie Fire have
been the biggest movers this week in Golden Slipper calculations.
Santos's impressive win in the $150,000 Pierro Plate At Randwick last weekend
resulted in the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained colt being elevated from
68th in the order of entry for the world's richest two-year-old race up to his
current place of 11th with eligible earnings of $101,800.
Down south, Mick Price's Prairie Fire was successful winning the Listed
Talindert Stakes (1100m) earning $72,000 for the victory and he rose to 15th in
the Golden Slipper order of entry four week's out from the $3.5 million feature

This Saturday is set to see some big movers in the order of entry with the $1.5
million Blue Diamond Stakes which should guarantee the three placegetters a place
in the Golden Slipper Stakes field of 16 if their connections elect to head to
Sydney.
Blue Diamond Stakes favourite Long Leaf, currently sits in first place in the
Golden Slipper order of entry with earnings of $190,500.
At Rosehill on Saturday the Silver Slipper Stakes will offer the Golden Slipper
ballot exemption for the winner while second place prizemoney of $47,000 will
go a way to increasing a horse's chances of making the Golden Slipper field.
