The $100,000 WATC Magic Millions Crystal Slipper (1100m) at Ascot on Saturday drew a competitive field of 13 and Yes Yes Yes filly Yes Queen produced a brilliant performance to score a dominant debut victory.
Trained by Dion Luciani and ridden by Willie Pike, Yes Queen had won her two previous trials by a space and proved too good for the favourite Talkanco, who was a winner at his only previous start.
Yes Queen led for home and kicked on strongly to win by a length and a half.
Yes Queen is a homebred for Cape Falls Thoroughbreds and is the third winner from four foals to race from stakes-placed Timely Queen, who comes from the family of Group I winning WA filly Jungle Dawn.
She is the 13th winner this season for Yes Yes Yes, who stands at a fee of $19,250 at Coolmore.
