A homebred for Bob and Sandra Peters sporting the fames cerise and white colours, progressive So You Think gelding Diamond Scene landed his first Black Type success at Ascot on Saturday when charging to the line to win the Listed WATC Luckygray Stakes (1800m).
Trained by Michael Grantham and ridden by Steve Parnham, Diamond Scene was having his third run back from a spell and stepping up to a suitable trip. He skirted wide around the corner and finished with a rush to win by three-quarters of a length taking his overall record to seven wins from 14 starts with prizemoney topping $365,000
Diamond Scene is a half-brother to stakes-winner Adornment and is the second stakes-winner among seven winners from seven to race from stakes-placed Zabeel mare Jewelled.
Diamond Scene is the 59th stakes-winner for So You Think, who stands at a fee of $77,000.
