Juddmonte Announce 2025 Fees – Bluestocking Retired

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday October 29

Juddmonte Farms have announced their European fees for 2025 with Frankel again topping the roster at £350,000 and his Group I winning son Chaldean (GB), currently in New Zealand at Cambridge Stud, has been given a great opportunity to follow in the footsteps of his world renowned sire.

Frankel remains at 350,000 pounds.

Frankel has sired 24 stakes-winners in 2024 headed by Group I winners Lake Victoria and Measured Time and in the sale ring he has been the dominant force.

Frankel filly from Aljazzi sold for 4.4million guineas at Tattersalls October this year.

Frankel achieved a personal best with a 2024 yearling average of £760,240 for 30 sold. Across all European yearling sales, he is the leading sire by average, while he has sired the highest-priced yearling of 2024 in the northern hemisphere and topped both the Tattersalls October and Goffs Orby Yearling Sales.

Chaldean covered 173 mares in his first season at stud in the UK.

A Group I winner at two and three, Chaldean is priced at £25,000 again having been well supported in his first season. Chaldean covered 173 mares in his first book, including 99 black-type performers or producers, which was more Group winners, stakes winners and black-type performers than any other first-season sire in Britain and Ireland.

Kingman remains at £125,000 and has had another stellar year with 18 stakes-winners headed by Group I winners Elmalka, Sparkling Plenty and Friendly Soul.

Juddmonte also announced the retirement to stud of their outstanding Camelot mare Bluestocking, who bows out of racing following her victory in the Arc de Triomphe, while their Group I winning three year-old filly Kalpana will remain in training in 2025. Their US based multiple Group I winning mare Idiomatic will also be retired to stud after injury ruled her out of the Breeders’ Cup.
