Lauda Sion Has Got It All

Media Release - Monday October 21

Luke Koumi has been pleasantly surprised by how Lauda Sion’s story has kept improving since he decided to purchase the G1 winning grand-son of  Deep Impact just a few months ago and has been so impressed he is telling everyone who will listen that Lauda Sion (Jpn)  has GOT IT ALL.

Lauda Sion (Jpn) stands at $11,000 at Larneuk Stud, click for more info.

Koumi’s faith is based in Lauda Sion’s considerable attributes.

  • Winner of $A3.8 + million in Japan
  • Elite Performance - Precocious 2yo Winner and G3 placed – from 4 starts. G1 and Listed winner as well as G3 and G2 seconds as a 3yo. G2 Winner and G3 third at four and a G2 third at 5. – testament to his precociousness and longevity.
  • Prepotent Sire Line- where his Sire, Grand Sire and Great Grand Sire all boast 75 precent winners to runners.
  • Winning Dam Line- has in  first 4 dams produced 86 percent winners to runners, from which there are 10 black type performers  inc 3x G1, 2x G2  (35% black type to winners) 3 Sires (excluding Lauda Sion).

Now, Lauda Sion has once again enhanced Luke’s opinion.

He has added elite fertility to his already excellent list of attributes. Lauda Sion has taken to his task in the breeding barn with enthusiasm, joy and SUCCESS. So far every cover has been successful – first time!

Has he got it all to be a success?  Breeders will decide for themselves after considering these facts.

Going to a stallion with high fertility can only enhance the chances of an early and positive outcome with Luke Koumi more than confident Lauda Sion has what it takes to succeed.

Breeders getting into the Laud Sion lift now with Luke in the bargain basement are set for a ride to the Penthouse!
