A top class Melbourne Cup winner and a lightning fast son of Snitzel, Gold Trip and Generation will make appeal to different sectors of the market, but they have something very important in common.

“Generation and Gold Trip have both taken to covering superbly. Balanced, professional, quick and very fertile, both new boys are operating near 90% fertility on first covers!” revealed Sam White.

“If you have a mare who needs a fertile young stallion with good libido, then look no further than Generation and Gold Trip, who are priced for value at $11,000 and $8,800.”

Fertility rates across the board have been on the up at Lovatsville with Group I producing sire Royal Meeting (IRE) and young gun Fierce Impact (Jpn) continuing their good work from previous years.

“We’ve enjoyed an exceptional start to the covering season with our fertility rates. Royal Meeting and Fierce Impact have carried on from their previous seasons studbook recorded statistics of 84% and 87% respectively and are covering well, getting good numbers of mares in foal and set to continue those exceptional stats from the past,” White added.

With his oldest progeny just turned three, Royal Meeting’s pin-up girl Hayasugi kicked off her spring with a gallant second in the Group I MVRC Moir Stakes, while Fierce Impact has had a number of encouraging trial and jump out runners giving promise of good things to come from his first crop of two year-olds.
