Gold Riband Winning Vendor Returns to Classic

Fresh from the success of becoming the first vendor to collect a $100,000 bonus for selling the first two year-old stakes-winner offered during the Gold Riband session at Inglis Classic last year, Mike O'Donnell and his Fairhill Farm team are champing at the bit for yearling buyers to arrive at Riverside Stables.

Stakes-winning 2YO Fiesta was bought from the Fairhill Farm draft last year for $150,000Speedy I Am Invincible filly Fiesta won the Group III ATC Widden Stakes last Saturday for Chris Waller and Star Thoroughbreds. Bred and offered for sale by Fairhill Farm she fetched $150,000 when secured from their draft last year and has already returned over $100,000 in prizemoney for her lucky group of owners.

Fairhill Farm are already showing this year's consignment at Riverside with 10 lovely youngsters including two cracking colts by leading US sire Uncle Mo (USA), who stands at a fee of $US125,000.

Fairhill Farm are no stranger to success with Uncle Mo having sold his classy Group II winning son Man From Uncle from their draft at the 2015 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale for just $35,000.

Like last year's star filly Fiesta, this colt will be offered in the Gold Riband session on Saturday night and has all the pre-requisites to be up and running early.

Foaled on August 9, he is by a very good two year-old sire in Hinchinbrook and is the first foal of a half-sister to juvenile stakes-winner Woppitt and grand-daughter of Group I VATC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Midnight Fever.
