Everest hero Yes Yes Yes posted a winning double on Thursday putting him to the top of the table of second crop sires by wins with his eight winners to date racking up 11 wins, which is one ahead of Too Darn Hot (GB).
Trained by Chris Waller and ridden by Rory Hutchings, powerhouse chestnut filly Useapin broke her maiden at Wyong last month and stepped out again for the first time since then in a Benchmark 64 event over 1100m.
Ridden quietly early, Useapin was last and wide turning for home, but swept past her rivals to win by more than a length running away and has now won two of her five starts.
A $420,000 Magic Millions purchase from Attunga Stud for Mulcaster Bloodstock/Chris Waller Racing Pty Ltd, Useapin is the highest priced filly by her sire and was also his most expensive at the Gold Coast in 2023.
She is the fifth winner from five to race from Pinova, a winning half-sister by Fastnet Rock to Group II winning sire Star Turn from fast and tenacious Group III winner Golden Delicious.
Yes Yes Yes also posted a maiden winner for the Bjorn Baker stable at Orange with three year-old filly Triple Tempo bolting in to win by three lengths over 1000m as a short priced favourite at just her third start.
Standing at a fee of $19,250 this spring, Yes Yes Yes has two stakes runners this Saturday with Firm Agreement and Maili both acceptors for feature races at Rosehill.
