Spirit
Of Boom could hardly be having a better first season and he's heading into
Saturday with two debutants set to run as favourites in Melbourne and Brisbane.
At Caulfield it's the Tony McEvoy trained Kinky Boom (filly ex Kinka Rhode), a $2.25
favourite in early morning markets after winning a Morphettville barrier trial
by over eight lengths on January 29.
At Doomben it's the Chris Munce trained colt Spirit of Cherokee (colt ex
Serpent) who sits at $2.80 in early Saturday markets after being heavily backed
from an opening price of $8.
Other interesting debutants for today include Stratosphere at Rosehill, a
$925,000 Snitzel yearling from the Snowden stable and Prairie Fire at Caulfield,
a $625,000 buy trained by Mick Price.
