More Twists in the Everest Tale – One 3YO Out and Another In

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday October 2

Everest news yesterday centred on the withdrawal of boom WA three year-old gelding Bustling following a below par run at his first Eastern States appearance last month and today comes the announcement James Harron Bloodstock have leased out their slot for this year to Go Bloodstock for their Golden Slipper winning filly Lady of Camelot.

Trained by Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott, Lady of Camelot was third at her first run back in the Group I MVRC Moir Stakes last month and then seventh in the Group II ATC The Shorts so will need to improve sharply to be a player on the big day.

The move is an interesting one for James Harron Bloodstock given they are yet to produce classy I Am Invincible colt Bodyguard, who was scratched from last weekend’s Listed ATC Heritage Stakes and holds entries for Sydney (G2Premiere) and Melbourne (G2 Danehill) this Saturday.
