A quality packed catalogue for the NZB Ready to Run Sale is now online and in the lead up to the sale we’ll go looking each week for some horses of interest that jump out on pedigree for various reasons.

Ole Kirk made a name for himself at the highly anticipated official Sydney two year-old barrier trials on Monday morning with the Champion 3YO by Written Tycoon producing two impressive winners in King Kirk and O’Ole, who was the quickest filly of the session and equal fastest overall, read about them here.

Ole Kirk is an exciting young sire.

There are two entries for the Ready to Run by Ole Kirk, whose popularity may well have soared by the time they are offered for sale in late November.

Lot 122 is a colt from Press Box offered by Lyndhurst Farm. He is the second foal of a winning sibling to a pair of Group I winning colts in POress Statement and Pressday.

Lot 386 is a colt from Gheedaa offered by Lilywhites Lodge. He is the third foal of a metro winner that traces directly back to Group I winning filly Whisked, the dam of Champion Stayer Tie the Knot, a 13 time Group I winner of over $6million.
