Invincible Sprinter Claims Another Feature

Tara Madgwick - Sunday January 28
Five year-old I Am Invincible gelding Most Important has been racing consistently over the summer and scored a resounding win in the Listed $100,000 Sunshine Coast Cup on Saturday.

Prepared by Tony Gollan for Graham and Linda Huddy's Peachester Lodge, Most Important improved off his last start fourth in the $1million Magic Millions Cup behind Care to Think to win this 1400 metre feature by nearly four lengths.

Linda Huddy told AAP it was always great to win with Most Important who was a stable favourite.

"When he started to sweat up today we knew he was ready to go," she said.

"He needs to be a bit messy to be switched on. He has been wonderful for us and areal flag bearer in Queensland."

Most Important as a yearlingMost Important was a $260,000 Magic Millions purchase from the Yarraman Park draft and has won nine races and placed nine times from 33 starts earning over $870,000 in official prizemoney, but also claimed a $500,000 Racing Queensland bonus last year for his owners in the Summer Sprint Series.

Bred by Yarraman Park and partners, Most Important is the best of six winners for Orange Marmalade (NZ), a half-sister by Stravinsky (USA) to Group III winner Just a Dream from Group III winner Majestic Angel.

Orange Marmalade (NZ) produced a colt foal last year by I Am Invincible's stakes-winning son Super One.
