While it’s all just beginning for him in Australia, it’s been full steam ahead in the Northern Hemisphere this year for Wootton Bassett, who has sired nine stakes-winners in 2024 headed by his Group I winner Al Riffa, who heads next to the Group I Arc de Triomphe in France.

Among his 2024 stakes-winners are four new juvenile stakes -winners – Henri Matisse, Ides of March, Angeal and Apples and Bananas – with 21 two year-old winners in total so far this year.

Wootton Bassett (GB) will stand at a fee of $192,500 inc. GST

A proven and versatile sire whose progeny can run at two and then train on, Wootton Bassett has the potential to be a game changer for Australian breeders.
