One to Watch – Scone

Tara Madgwick - Friday August 30

Everest hero Yes Yes Yes has had a flurry of recent winners and one of them made it two wins in as many starts when bolting in at Scone on Friday.

Trained by Matthew Smith, Silencio Porfavor won on debut at Kembla on August 10 and then stepped up to a Benchmark 64 event over 1000m and blew away his rivals to win by three lengths.

He was a short priced favourite and clocked a brisk 57.46 seconds with the promise of more wins to come.

Silencio Porfavor was a $120,000 Magic Millions purchase.
