Blazing Babe and her colt by State of Rest (IRE).

Alma Vale Thoroughbreds are delighted with their handsome bay colt from winning Pierro mare Blazing Babe, a full sister to Group II placed Blazerro.

The best son of globetrotting world champion sprinter Starspangledbanner, State of Rest has inherited the trademark toughness and resilience of both his sire and grand-sire Choisir with his four Group I victories coming in four different countries – Australia, France, UK and USA.

State of Rest covered 148 mares last spring and is standing this year at a slightly reduced fee of $27,500.
