Sun City Honoured as Champion Queensland First Season Sire

Tara Madgwick - Monday August 19

Telemon Thoroughbreds is home to promising young Zoustar stallion Sun City, who was recently crowned Champion Queensland based First Season Sire for 2023/2024.

A fast and precocious Group III winning juvenile, Sun City has been quick to produce offspring with similar attributes siring four winners last season from 10 runners including metropolitan winners Mishani Suspect and Mishani Eclipse, who have both won over $100,000 in prizemoney.

Sun City is already on the board with a new winner this season in Mishani Destiny and has another small crop of 39 juveniles waiting in the wings and they include five that have already been named with the Mishani prefix, so we can expect to see them out running before Christmas.

Sun City stands at a fee of $8,800 this spring.
