Widden Stud Announce Purchase of Sun Stud

At the Widden Stud Victoria open day last Friday a quality roster of nine stallions were on show and breeders were also given the good news that Widden have now purchased what was Sun Stud and the Thompson family are very much committed to the Victorian breeding industry going forward.

“Widden Victoria has been operating under a lease since we moved down here three years ago and a few weeks ago we were able to finalise a purchase,” said Antony Thompson .

“This is something we are really excited by and we feel extremely lucky to say we now own this beautiful property.

“This shows our commitment to the Victorian industry and there are plenty of exciting things happening down here and we are really pleased to be a part of that in an even bigger way now.”
