Tom Kitten Gelded

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday July 16

Earlier this year last season’s Group I winning three year-old colts Manzoice and Lindermann were both gelded and have been racing consistently since and Godolphin have taken that path with Group I ATC Spring Champion Stakes winner Tom Kitten, who was seen out at the trials at Warwick Farm on Monday morning as a gelding.

Will gelding put Tom Kitten back in the winner's circle? image Steve Hart

The son of Harry Angel (IRE) finished just out of the placings in five runs in elite company during the autumn, so it will be interesting to see if gelding can find him the couple of lengths extra he needs return to winning form.
