Coinciding with Sydney’s Winx Stakes Day, the Lunch will again be hosted by presenter and ex-jockey, Bernadette Cooper, and promises to be a fantastic day out with great entertainment and special guests in Randwick’s lavish Ballroom.

“As one of the NJT’s main fundraising events, the Luncheon aims to raise vital funds for our ongoing initiatives to support the country’s jockeys,” said NJT CEO, Paul Innes OAM.

The raffle will be headlined by a Nicholas Haywood Jewellery piece, whilst other fantastic prizes and silent auction items include microshares from MyRacehorse, fashion and millinery items, and autographed Winx merchandise.

In operation since 2004, the NJT’s goal is to relieve financial hardship and provide jockeys and their families with support in times of need. Dedication and bravery are prerequisites of almost every sport, and these qualities are found in abundance in racing. Australian jockeys are elite athletes who, quite literally, place their lives on the line every time they compete in a race, but sadly, serious injuries are a frequent occurrence.

More guests and prizes will be announced on the NJT social channels in the coming weeks.

Tickets to the Luncheon are $270pp or $2700 per table of 10, and include racecourse and event admission, a gourmet three-course meal from the award-winning ATC chefs, premium beverage package, racebook, complimentary parking and more.

Tickets can be purchased directly via the NJT website here

Additional sponsors and prize donations are still sought after, please contact the NJT to get involved.
