Hot Lots Day 3 Magic Millions

Mark Smith - Thursday January 11

The $2 million I Am Invincible colt sold at Thursday’s session of the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale set a new mark for his sire but it will certainly not be the last we hear from Yarraman Park’s highflyer.

On Friday, Vinery will offer an I Am Invincible colt that is the first foal of the Group 1 One Thousand Guineas heroine Commanding Jewel who is a half-sister to Coolmore’s champion mare Atlantic Jewel who was beaten just once in a 10-start career, which included four wins at the highest level.

Commanding Jewel and Atlantic Jewel were the only two foals left by the Zabeel mare Regard who was a granddaughter of Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Pass The Peace (Alzao).

There is no shortage of colts syndicates on the ground so if they like what they see, the skies the limit.

He is just one of five lots by I Am Invincible on our short list on Friday.
