Pierata Heads Magic Millions 3YO Guineas Field

A competitive line up of 18 three-year-olds has been finalised for Saturday's 2018 Magic Millions 3YO Guineas (1400m) at the Gold Coast with Pierro's star colt Pierata to carry the number one saddle cloth.

Pierata - Magic MillionsWith a maximum of 16 runners allowed, there are two emergencies.

Pierata is the favourite and runs for trainer Greg Hickman and jockey Corey Brown while last start winners Saint Patricks Day, Bel Sonic, Wild Heart, and Sasso Corbaro have also forced their way into the $2 million set weights and penalties contest.

Goodfella, Whypeeo, Shogun Sun, and Calculated are among the other leading chances in the capacity field.

The barrier draw for both the Guineas and 2YO Classic will be held at the Gold Coast on Tuesday morning.
