Alma Vale Thoroughbreds Yearlings for MM National

It’s been a busy year for the Alma Vale Thoroughbreds and the Magic Millions National Yearling Sale (June 4,5) marks the end of the yearling sale season with their draft of five youngsters featuring some well bred prospects including a Street Boss (USA) colt from a Group I winner.

Lot 1286 is one of only two colts in the sale by top class shuttle sire Street Boss, best known as the sire of Australian Horse of the Year Anamoe.

A big, strong well grown colt, he is a half-brother to two winners from Australian bred Group I winning More Than Ready (USA) mare Entisaar, who raced in South Africa where she was the Champion 2YO Filly of 2014/2015

She has a two year-old filly by Too Darn Hot (GB) called Heat Missile that sold at Inglis Easter for $200,000 and is in work with Robbie Griffiths and Matthew de Kock.

Lot 1291 Colt Exceedance x Fantome Gris, by Sebring

From the second crop of promising young sire Exceedance, already the sire of two Group winners Dublin Down and Flyer. Half-brother to two winners from metro winning daughter of stakes-winning import Paris Return (USA).

 

Lot 1470 Filly Zousain x Sunflare, by Written Tycoon

From the second crop of another promising sire in Zousain, sire of Group winner Drifting and exciting colt Zouna, a close second in the Group II BRC Sires Produce Stakes on Saturday. First foal of winning half-sister to stakes-winner Dornier from stakes-winner Deloraine. Bred on similar Zoustar x Written Tycoon cross that has produced 80% winners to runners.
