$1.2 Million for Mare in foal to I Am Invincible

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday May 29

Day two of the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale is continuing at the Gold Coast on Wednesday featuring the proven producers and an early highlight was former smart Group III winning Sebring mare Biscayne Bay.

Biscayne Bay sold for $1.2million in foal to I Am Invincible.

Consigned by Yarraman Park, Biscayne Bay was snapped up by Yulong via their Panthalassa Syndicate for $1.2million and was in foal to I Am invincible having missed to the champion sire in her first year at stud in 2022.

Placed in the Group I VRC Oaks, Biscayne Bay comes with a big pedigree as a half-sister to Group II winner Tenley from the family of Golden Slipper winning sire Vancouver with her third dam the Group I winning blue hen Skating.

Biscayne Bay is the first of five mares that will be offered in foal to I Am Invincible, who has just ticked over $30million in seasonal earnings.
