Racenet lays for August 5

Breednet - Friday August 4

Some smaller fields around the country on Saturday could give punters donuts but the Racenet analysts have put their heads together to give punters another tool to help them turn a profit with the Racenet lays of the day.

Below are the favoured runners that the Racenet men have discounted as winning chances on Saturday.

LA CHICA BELLA

$3.40

Racing well and won last start at Warwick Farm. She goes up in distance, up in class and rises 3.5kg so despite racing on the speed she could be tested. Mares in form always hard to oppose but there are several chances in this and she might be found out late.

HAY BALE

$3.50

Broke through to win last start and favourite here but we're not so sure. They went slow early in his win over 1100m and although it's a small field there are several chances. Gets in well with the claim but he's out of three-year-old class and the lowest rated in a BM90 so we're prepared to take him on.

CHLOE'S COMET

$4.20

Is currently favourite but not sure she justifies it. Up in class and trip from her last start win at Ipswich and comes up against some handy sorts here. She can win but at the odds we're happy to bet against her.

Morphettville Parks

HUSSON EAGLE

$4

Certainly good enough to win and looks well treated after the claim BUT he is a get back horse, has drawn barrier one on the Parks track and is going to need more than his share of luck to win. The small field is in his favour but the shape of the race is not.

SHOWY CHLOE

$3.40

Favourite for this but hasn't won in her last 14 starts and hasn't won beyond 1400m. Slight improvement in form last start when third here over 1300m but enough to warrant favouritism - not for us.
