$1.3million Justify Colt to Waller Racing

Triple Crown hero Justify (USA) has established himself as one of the best young sires in the world and he finished the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale with a flourish as his last colt through the ring on Monday sold for $1.3million.

Consigned by Coolmore the dashing chestnut was a real eye-catcher as is his sire and he cut an impressive figure in the sale ring before being knocked down to Chris Waller Racing/ Mulcaster Bloodstock.

$1.3million Justify (USA) colt from Crystal Fountain.

He was offered on behalf of Morning Rise Stud, who bred and sold outstanding Justify juvenile colt Storm Boy, and he is the second living foal of well related stakes-placed Stravinsky (USA) mare Crystal Fountain (NZ).

Crystal Fountain is a three-quarter sister-in-blood to Champion 3YO Filly Serenade Rose, a triple Group I winner and the family also features dual Group I winning sprinter Trekking.

“He’s a great colt by a great sire and we have plenty of stable clients to go in him,” said Guy Mulcaster.

Crystal Fountain has a filly to follow by Wild Ruler and is now in foal again to Justify, who had eight yearlings sell at an average $629,375.
