After hitting the heights with the Dundeel colt Celestial Legend in Saturday’s $4,000,000 Star Doncaster Mile, Bon Ho’s Legend Racing, Mark McStay’s Avenue Bloodstock, and trainer Les Bridge teamed up again to purchase a son of Dundeel at the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.(lot 402)

The trio had the final say at $400,000 for Arrowfield Stud’s colt, which is out of the Group 1 SAJC Schweppes Oaks winner Abby Marie, a sister to Group 1 AJC Australian Oaks winner Absolutely and a three-quarter sister to Group III winners Runaway and She’s Clean.

Abby Marie’s half-sister Life In a Metro (Fastnet Rock) is the dam of the Group II MVRC Sunline Stakes winner Quantum Mechanic and the multiple Group II winner in South Africa, Mount Pleasant (Vancouver).
