Winners flow for gavelhouse.com Australia with auction closing tonight

Media Release - Monday December 18
Graduates of New Zealand Bloodstock subsidiary gavelhouse have continued to return to their stables winners in recent weeks with $1,850 purchase Machu Picchu now returning her new owners over $25,000 in prize-money.

The five-year-old Krupt mare was sold online with gavelhouse.com in March with purchaser and new trainer Brian Laherty commenting on her Dalby win
"The mare has clicked with her track-work rider, young apprentice Hannah English and was given a peach of a ride by her."

"She's well and truly paid her way and she loves the Sunshine Coast so we will most likely go there for her next race."

Machu Picchu has had nine starts for two wins and four placings and is one of a flurry of winners from gavelhouse.com Australia graduates in recent weeks with Austin the most recent having won on Friday night at Warren for Rodney Robb.

The son of Savabeel was a $26,000 purchase from the Chris Waller stable via gavelhouse.com and is working his way back to recouping that with just under $16,000 in earnings under his new ownership group.

AshkanndWarwick Farm-based trainer Richard Litt's $9,000 buy Ashkannd has been a brilliant result. Breaking through for a city win a fortnight ago, he won again on the quick backup taking his earnings since his purchase to $50,760.

Meanwhile another former Waller stable member broke through with his first win for his new connections in the Northern Territory. Rye, a $25,000 buy, is on track to recoup his purchase price and more with $18,150 banked to date.

Captain Cupboard, Chelsea Diamond, Magnificent Galaxy are also winning graduates of gavelhouse.com in recent weeks.

The current gavelhouse.com Australia catalogue is set to close from 7pm tonight, Monday 18 December with entries for the next sale open until 7pm on Wednesday 28 December to allow for the Christmas break. The sale will close from 7pm on Tuesday 2 January to allow for New Year's Day.
