Golden Slipper Day Sale Mail for Rosehill - Sort by Sire and Vendor

Tara Madgwick - Friday March 22

Golden Slipper day at Rosehill on Saturday features nine stakes races, five of them at Group I level so this is the big leagues and not surprisingly the two best stallions in the land are the two with the highest representation.

Snitzel has eight entries for Golden Slipper day.

Arrowfield Stud’s heavy hitter Snitzel has eight runners including two in the Golden Slipper in Switzerand and Prost, while Yarraman Park’s reigning champion sire I Am Invincible has seven with Bodyguard his Slipper contender.

So You Think and Zoustar are equal on five runners each with Coolmore’s Zoustar looking down the barrel of quite possibly a big day given his superstars Think It Over and Think About It are both contesting G1 races with the former in the Ranvet and the latter in the George Ryder.

Next come Dundeel and Frankel with four runners each, the former with outstanding three year-old colt Militarize and the latter with his high profile Irish bred imported mare Via Sistina (IRE).

The two most successful vendors are Newgate Farm on eight and Arrowfield stud on seven.

The Newgate sold runners include G1 contenders Think About It in the George Ryder and Holmes a Court in the Golden Slipper.
