Newhaven Park to Offer Lone Royal Meeting Filly in Adelaide

Sponsored Content - by Tara Madgwick - Thursday March 14

It’s a long way from Boorowa in the South West of NSW to the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale (March 18 and 19), but John Kelly and his team at Newhaven Park are making the trip well worthwhile with a draft of nine that features the only filly in the sale by the sire of Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes winner Hayasugi.

Currently the leading first season sire in the country by earnings thanks to his exceptional daughter Hayasugi, young Invincible Spirit stallion Royal Meeting (IRE) is right on the radar for yearling buyers and Newhaven Park’s filly from Sending Love has a female pedigree that will attract plenty of interest.

Lot 198, click to see her page.

Offered as Lot 198, she is the first foal of two time winning Snitzel mare Sending Love, a daughter of Group II winner Return to Sender from the family of dual Group I winner Response, the dam of Golden Slipper winner Estijaab, who is also by Snitzel and made $1.7million as a yearling.

This is a highly commercial family that has delivered a string of million dollar yearlings with the last two yearling colts by Snitzel from Response selling at Inglis Easter in 2022 and 2023 for $2.25million and $1.4million highlighting the regard in which this family is held.
