The
most expensive yearling filly sold in 2017 is listed to make her debut at Moonee
Valley on Friday night.
Two year-old Redoute’s Choice filly Al Naifa has been put up favourite for the opening
race tonight with the Tony McEvoy trained runner having shown nice ability in
two trials at Cranbourne last month.
A $1.8 million Inglis Easter purchase from the Newhaven Park draft for Tim
Stakemire on behalf of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Maktoum, Al Naifa is a
half-sister to Group I winner and $2.8 million earner English from Group II
winner Court.
The current yearling from Court, a filly by Snitzel, has been entered for the
2018 Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale.
