I
Am Invincible's Tassie sprint star I'm Wesley added another feature win to his
growing resume when taking out the $100,000 Listed Conquering at Launceston on
Wednesday.
Prepared by Glenn Stevenson, I'm Wesley continued his hot run of form to post
his sixth successive win in the 1400 metre sprint.
Sent out favourite, I'm Wesley travelled just behind the leaders and powered
home to win by a length taking his overall record to 11 wins and eight placings
from 27 starts with prizemoney just shy of $250,000.
I'm Wesley is undefeated since resuming from a spell on August 6, reeling off six
successive wins!
An $8,000 Inglis Great Southern Weanling Sale purchase for his trainer from the
Shadwell Farm draft, I'm Wesley is the best of three winners from Daniela, a
minor winning Danehill grand-daughter of US Group I winner Some Romance.
I'm Wesley is another stakes-winner for Yarraman Park's I Am Invincible, who is
fully booked this spring at a fee of $110,000 and has 44 entries for the 2018
Magic Millions.
