Stud's Ocean Park notched up his first stakes-winner on Saturday with another
of his daughters up for grabs today in a three in one package on
gavelhouse,com.
Ocean Jewel showed a brilliant turn of foot in the Listed Placid Ark Stakes
(1200m) at Ascot on to earn high praise from trainer Simon Miller and jockey
Josh Parr, marking her Cox Plate-winning sire's 16th win from 10
individual winners to date.
The Ocean Park filly for sale is offered with her four-time winning dam Stellafire, a
daughter of Testa Rossa and a half-sister to Group One winner Lights of Heaven.
To date Stellafire has produced one to race with that a winner in the Wanted
gelding Waipari Lad.
Completing the three in one package, Stellafire is in foal to Rich Hill Stud's
Proisir, a full brother to last year's Caulfield Guineas winner Divine Prophet.
By Choisir and out of an Encosta de Lago mare, Proisir raced from the
Waterhorse stable to win the Gr.3 Newcastle Spring Champion Stakes and race in
top company throughout his career.
His best performances included finishing second to Dundeel in the Gr.1 Spring
Champion Stakes and the Gr.1 Randwick Guineas while he also ran third to triple
crown hero Pierro in the Gr.2 Hobartville Stakes.
