For a smaller stallion farm, Yarraman Park does pack a punch with two of their three sires – I Am Invincible and Hellbent – both siring six winners on Saturday!
I Am Invincible has been Australia’s champion sire for the past two seasons and is on track for a third with his seasonal earnings ticking past $21 million on Saturday helped along by a metro double at Rosehill thanks to Caballus and Buillt bringing his tally of winners to 105 including nine stakes-winners.
I Am Invincible’s Group I winning son Hellbent is also on top in the third seasons sires division with 52 winners of $4.3 million with his Saturday winners headed by brilliant debut 2YO winner Fully Lit and a double at Eagle Farm courtesy of Blue Spinel and Hellavadancer.
Both sires have entries for upcoming sales – I Am Invincible has just one for Karaka Book 1 and seven for Inglis Classic, while Hellbent has five for Karaka Book 1 and 16 for Inglis Classic.
