Third Winner for Cosmic Force

Mark Smith - Tuesday January 9

Displaying the benefits of a debut third at Ipswich on Christmas Eve, That's Interesting broke her maiden in style at Rockhampton on Tuesday to credit Cosmic Force with his third winner.

Ridden by Justin Stanley for Leigh Wanless, That's Interesting was sent off an odds-on favourite in the Capricornia Yearling Sale Entries Maiden Hcp (1050m), and justified the confidence when leading at every call.

The daughter of Cosmic Force defeated the Neorealism (JPN) filly Buttinsky by two and a half lengths with a length back to the Divine Prophet colt Beats Flowers in third.

That's Interesting a $40,000 Magic Millions National Weanling

A $40,000 National Sale weanling, That’s Interesting was purchased by his trainer for $30,000 when consigned by Ambergate Farm to Book 2 of the 2023 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

She is the first foal of the unraced Hinchinbrook mare Attractive Lass, a half-sister to the Group II-placed Maysoor (Fastnet Rock) out of the stakes-winning Red Ransom (USA) mare Cinq Rouge.

Sadly, That's Interesting is the only foal of Attractive Lass who died in 2022.

The Group II ATC Roman Consul Stakes winner Cosmic Force has been quick from the blocks with his first crop. The son of Deep Field stands at Newgate Farm for $11,000.
