three year-old filly Enable was named 2017 Cartier Horse of the Year at the
27th annual Cartier Awards at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Tuesday.
The John Gosden-trained, Khalid Abdullah-owned daughter
of young Galileo sire Nathaniel won five Group I races this yearling claiming three
Oaks victories (Epsom, Irish and Yorkshire) as well as the King George VI and
Queen Elizabeth Stakes and Arc de Triomphe.
