Second Winner for Strasbourg

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday December 26

Rosemont Stud’s young I Am Invincible stallion Strasbourg sired his second winner on Boxing Day with a dominant win for Colmar at Morphettville.

Trained by R & T Daniel & Stanbury, Colmar was third on debut at the same venue earlier this month and took good benefit from that experience into his second outing. He was strong to the line winning the 1100m open juvenile by more than two lengths.

Not offered at auction, Colmar is the first metro winner among three winners from Rapala, a metro winning Encosta de Lago mare that traces back to US Group III winning mare Duty Dance.

Strasbourg

Colmar is the second winner from just four runners for Strasboug, a Group II winning juvenile by champion sire I Am Invincible that stood for $8,800 this spring.
