Newgate
Farm shuttler The Factor added an eighth stakes-winner to his tally in the US
over the weekend with promising two year-old colt A Different World taking out
the $100,000 Grade III James Lewis Stakes at Laurel.
Trained by John Servis, A Different World was second on debut and then an easy
winner at his next outing before stepping up to stakes company.
He led all the way and cruised home to win the six furlong sprint by two
lengths.
A Different Word is the first winner for stakes-winner Right to Rule and adds
to the growing list of stakes horses sired by War Front's brilliant Group I
winning son The Factor, whose first Australian runners are two year-olds this
season.
The Factor is back at Newgate this spring at a fee of $11,000.
