It’s been a busy year for three year-old Galileo filly Warm Heart and it’s not over yet with the daughter of Australian triple Group I winner Sea Siren looking sharp and ready to fire at trackwork in Hong Kong this week in preparation for her bid to win the Group I Hong Kong International Vase (2400m).
Trained by Aidan O’Brien for the Coolmore partners, Warm Heart started the year as a maiden having had one run at two for a fourth at Dundalk. Progress was rapid after she saluted for the first time at Leaopardstown in May and she won her next two starts in a Listed r ace and then the Group II Ribblesdale Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Warm Heart then stepped up to Group I company and in four starts at the elite level has had wins in the Yorskhire Oaks and Prix Vermeille on Arc Day before her last start second at Sana Anita in the Breeders Cup Fillye and Mare.
Well-travelled and well-seasoned, Warm Heart will take some beating on Sunday.
